Where They Are Hid is a gem that takes several readings to fully digest. Each peels off yet another layer of the complex writing for which Powers is known. Incorporating the story line into the design of a book can be amusing at times but to avoid confusion be assured that we meant to print the title that way on the front board. It will all make perfect sense after you read the story through once. Or twice.
